I have seen the nice writeup for running dual EGT probes on two Defi-Link Controls, but that doesn't really appeal to me. I am not running individual EGT gauges, just the simple Defi Link Display which will show one EGT. My question is if I get a second sensor and run it to the Defi-Link Controller, can I unplug one bank and plug in the second bank to compare readings? Or can anyone suggest a way to make a toggle switch? I was told by a friend that some EGT probes use two different metals in the wire and the heat/resistance change across the two gives the gauge its reading? Is this the case> Specifically with the Defi gauges as well? I have a Greddy EGT probe and gauge sitting around, but I don't have any desire to have the gauge in the cabin if I can switch between banks on my Defi setup. Thanks for any input or opinions.
